Module 1

Chapter 1 of the book was a chapter that I was happy to be done reading by the end of it. There was not much of anything in the chapter that I learned besides two things, one of which I tried and the results were less impressive than the book makes them seem. The part that I tried was the omnibox. Maybe it is because the book is a few years old and Chrome has changed during that amount of time. It just seems less impressive how it works now in comparison to how the book makes it seem.

The chapter was about browsers and explained much of what I already know about them. I don’t work with Microsoft Edge often so I didn’t know about how you can make annotations on the web pages that you view. Besides that, however, I did understand how to do things such as customizing the browsers that I use. I don’t do it often unless it is to turn on dark mode since I think that makes it easier on the eyes.
